My Aunts and Uncle drove up to the top of Mount Soledad, which had a spectacular view of San Diego. It also had walls with plaque of vets  on them. My Uncle Mike had one.

I have learned through out the years that if you get into a difficult situation while you are traveling that you stay calm and think of it as an opportunity to meet people and see places that you would have not met or seen if it wasn't for that difficulty. Like the people I met at the Freight house
